Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (New or Renewal)

This American Heart Association’s BLS course is designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in pre-hospital and in-facility environments. This course teaches basic life support skills with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics.

Most of this class is performed on the floor so remember to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.

The American Heart Association enforces a policy that each student must have a Student Manual at class (students who have taken this course since 2016 should have a copy of the student manual from their previous class and may bring their old book to class). If you do not have a student manual, you can purchase either a hard copy (item #15-1010) or electronic/e-book (item #15-3102) version of the student manual from any of ECC’s trusted product distributors: (Channing Bete, Laerdal, and World Point). Shipping time is usually 2-3 days for hard copy or within 24 hours for e-books.
