Course Code: Blended BLS Provider/HeartCode BLS Online & Skills
American Heart Association’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner (online), followed by a hands-on session for skills check off (approximately 2 hours).
NO Registrations or Payments will be accepted less than 72 hours prior to the start of class. Students who register and make a secure PayPal payment at least 72 hours prior to class will receive an automated class confirmation. There are NO refunds for students who “no-show” or arrive late. Class begins at the designated start time. The American Heart Association prohibits entry into class after class has begun.
Blended (Online) BLS Provider/HeartCode BLS-Skills Session
This is a 3-part course, intended for healthcare providers who have direct patient care responsibilities, such as doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, EMTs, etc. HeartCode BLS Part 1 is an online course which tests didactic learning, including the course written exam. Parts 2 and 3 are classroom instructor-led practice and testing sessions for practical skills. The online portion of the course, HeartCode BLS Part 1 is accessed using a “key code” on the AHA online website. The online learning key code will be sent to student via e-mail, within 2 business days of registration and payment. The student must complete the online portion of the course to be eligible for the Skills Session. After completing PART 1, enroll separately in PART 2&3 (Skills Session) by returning to CPR-N-MORE’s website www.cpr-n-more.com. You will need to print your Certificate of Completion from the eLearning session (Part 1) and present this document to your instructor to gain access to the Skills Session.
BLS/HeartCode BLS Skills Check Only: $50
BLS/HeartCode Online and Skills Check: $75
Admission to a skills session: Student must present their Certificate of Completion for the online portion of the course to the AHA instructor. (Sorry, there are no exceptions)
