Course Code: Blended: Heartsaver® CPR AED Online and Skills Check
American Heart Association’s blended learning delivery method for the Heartsaver® CPR AED course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner (online), followed by a hands-on session for skills check off (approximately 45 minutes).
NO Registrations or Payments will be accepted less than 72 hours prior to the start of class. Students who register and make a secure PayPal payment at least 72 hours prior to class will receive an automated class confirmation. There are NO refunds for students who “no-show” or arrive late. Class begins at the designated start time. The American Heart Association prohibits entry into class after class has begun.
Blended Heartsaver® CPR AED Online and Skills Check
Blended Heartsaver CPR AED Online has been updated to reflect new science in the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. Heartsaver CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver CPR AED blended learning course and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for CPR and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. Blended Heartsaver CPR AED Skills Check students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor. This skills session is approximately 90 minutes in length. You MUST complete PART 1 (online/e-Learning training) and print your Certificate of Completion prior to skills session attendance. You are required to present your Certificate of Completion to your instructor to gain access to the Skills Session.

Admission to a skills session: Student must present their Certificate of Completion for the online portion of the course to the AHA instructor. (Sorry, there are no exceptions)
