BLS Provider-Formerly BLS for Healthcare Provider (New or Renewal)
This American Heart Association’s BLS course is designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in pre-hospital and in-facility environments. This course teaches basic life support skills with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics.
Most of this class is performed on the floor so remember to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
The American Heart Association enforces a policy that each student must have a provider manual for class. If you are are a renewal participant and do not have a student manual, please purchase a provider manual, either hard-copy (15-1010) or electronic-copy (15-3102) from any of the AHA’s trusted product distributors: (Channing Bete, Laerdal, and WorldPoint).
